Lagardère Active – Appointment: Anaïs Jouvancy named editorial director of Parental division

In agreement with Fabien Sfez, Lagardère Active’s managing director for digital and technological development, Corinne Denis, Lagardère Active’s managing director for the Family brand universe, announced the appointment of Anaïs Jouvancy as editorial director of the Parental division (the print and Internet versions of Parents and Infobébés).
Her mission is to consolidate the leadership position of parental magazines while boosting their digital deployment.
Catherine Lelièvre, who directed the magazine for 19 years with professionalism and talent, contributed to making the Parents brand a benchmark and leading player in the Family sector. Fabien Sfez and Corinne Denis would like to thank her warmly for her efforts and wish her every success in her future endeavours.
Anaïs Jouvancy, who previously served as bimedia editor-in-chief of Public, took up her new post at the beginning of January. She will report directly to Corinne Denis.

After obtaining a BA in philosophy, an MA in classics and a two-year degree (DUT) in journalism from the Tours Institue of Technology, Anaïs Jouvancy began her career at a regional daily newspaper, La Montagne (from 1997 to 1999).
She joined Le Monde de l'éducation in 2000, and then worked for Le Monde Interactif before joining the news and media department of Télé Loisirs. At the end of 2003, she joined Lagardère Active, where she served as department head and then assistant editor-in-chief; since January 2007, she has been bimedia editor-in-chief of Public.
