Philip Allan Updates will join Hodder Headline Group while keeping its name and its offices near Oxford and Burnley. The company has 57 employees and generates €10 million in sales.

The No. 2 textbook publisher in the UK’s secondary-school market, Hodder Headline is strengthening its position in a market that Arnaud Nourry, chairman of Hachette Livre, considers “a major engine of growth for Hachette. Education has been a core competency of the Group ever since it was founded”.
