Sale to Pininfarina

The negotiations initiated last June between Lagardère SCA and Pininfarina S.p.A. regarding the purchase of Matra-Automobile’s engineering, testing and prototyping businesses have been successfully concluded.

This agreement, which is subject to the usual authorizations, fulfills the Lagardère group’s strategic decision to withdraw from its automotive activity. It also ensures the employees of Matra-Automobile’s engineering and design department, test centre and 3D-design subsidiary an enduring career working for one of the world’s leading automotive engineering firms, while highlighting their expertise.

This agreement does not concern customer service activities for vehicles previously manufactured by Matra-Automobile.
