Takis Candilis appointed Chief Operating Officer for production at Lagardère Entertainment

Arnaud Molinié, Chief Executive Officer of Lagardère Entertainment, in agreement with Didier Quillot, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lagardère Active, announced the arrival of Takis Candilis as Chief Operating Officer for production.

As Arnaud Molinié put it, “The arrival of Takis Candilis, a talented professional, is a clear sign of Lagardère’s desire to accelerate its move towards producing tv programs both in France and abroad, and to quickly become a major player.”

Takis Candilis, 53, and a producer, joined the TFI Group in September 1999, where he successively occupied the posts of Director of Fiction, President of TFI Production, and Chief Operating Officer in charge of flux and fiction programmes.

Lagardère Entertainment is a subsidiary of Lagardère Active. It is responsible for audiovisual production, live entertainment and rights management.
