Paris, July 21, 2009
“Through our participation in this exciting project, we are actively pursuing our ‘multiple brand strategy’.” Thomas Wiesel emphasizes further, “Our core business remains press- and book trade in railway station and airport locations throughout Germany – as a worldwide market leader we will continue to systematically expand this segment of our business here in Germany. Our Portfolio presently offers a broad mix of innovative and trendy brands such as hub CONVENIENCE, L`Occitane and now Happy. Until now, it was not easy to find a national floral brand that worked with a conclusive concept, consistent presentation and professional marketing. With the introduction of Happy we hope to change the face of the German flower market.”
According to the Happy CEO, “We have a long term agenda with Happy. We will strive to be the new force on the flower market with a strong presence throughout the country.“
The first Happy store recently opened in the central railway station of Stuttgart.
The 55m² of sleek black design invite customers into a shop filled not only with pre-made bouquets, bunched flowers and plants but also a very cool atmosphere.
Attractive packaging and innovative floral creations are additional aspects that set Happy apart from the others.
Testing the concept here in Germany is the first step but our expansion goals are very ambitious. We aim to open 120 Happy stores in various city centers within the next 10 years.
