Europe 1: appointments

Upon the appointment of Denis Olivennes as Europe 1’s CEO, Philippe Balland (programme director) and Laurent Glépin (communications director) announced their wish to pursue other professional projects.
Mr Olivennes has accordingly decided upon the following appointments:

• As programme director, Bruno Gaston, who served as assistant to Alain De Greef at Canal+ and then as entertainment manager under Yves Bigot at France 2 before joining France 4 as programme and broadcasting director.
• As communications director, Emmanuel Pereau, who held this position at France Inter.
  On behalf of the company, Mr Olivennes thanks Mr Balland and Mr Glépin for their contribution, alongside Alexandre Bompard, to the success of the station.
