Appointments of Virginie Banet and Laurent Carozzi.

Virginie BANET appointed Group Head of Investor Relations.
Laurent CAROZZI appointed Group Financial Controller.

• Virginie BANET is joining the Lagardère Group as Group Head of Investor Relations.
  She will also have various responsibilities within the Finance function, mainly in the field of mergers and acquisitions. She will be a member of the Lagardère Media Executive Committee and the Group Finance Committee. Virginie Banet’s previous position was as a Managing Director and Senior Banker at Deutsche Bank. She has been an investment banker since 2003, before which she spent 13 years as a financial analyst. A graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (IEP), she is also a member of the Société Française des Analystes Financiers (SFAF).
• Laurent CAROZZI, currently Head of Investor Relations, has been promoted to the position of Group Financial Controller and member of the Group Finance Committee.
  A graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure at Cachan and holder of a Masters in Management from the University of Paris I, he was a consultant in the Industrial Research Department at Crédit Lyonnais from 1992 to 1995, when he joined the Paribas equities research team in London to head up their media sector coverage. He left Paribas in 1999, remaining in London as a pan-European buy-side media analyst for Indocam. Laurent Carozzi joined HSBC in 2002 as head of the sell-side media research team. In 2004, he returned to France, joining the Lagardère Group as Head of Investor Relations.
