Drew Houston, Dropbox founder and CEO and Denis Olivennes, Chairman of Lagardère Active, have announced a technological partnership to enhance the digital transformation of France’s largest media group.
Under this agreement, Dropbox will provide storage and collaborative sharing solutions to all of the group’s teams.
As part of this technological modernisation, Lagardère Active is equipping all of its 3,000 employees with Dropbox Enterprise accounts.
“We are impatient to work with Lagardère Active, a leading media group in France, to help them step up their digital transformation and meet their needs in document sharing, modernisation of cooperative working and incorporating mobile data access. We are happy to continue working with French companies and institutions to help them meet new challenges. This first agreement represents a success for Philippe Plichon and his team, who have been able to establish this partnership with success,” said Drew Houston, Dropbox founder and CEO.
For the teams at Lagardère Active the agreement will further develop the on-going digital transformation of working practices. “This cooperation will enable Lagardère Active to improve employees’ communication both internally and externally, whenever and wherever they are, on all their devices with enhanced security. From the editorial team at Paris Match to the marketing teams at Europe1, via Lagardère Entertainment’s production companies, Dropbox’s Enterprise solution will offer a better solution to meet the needs of each of the group’s business units and every type of professional cooperation use. Fabien Sfez, our Director of Digital and Technological Development, and his teams will ensure that this is a fruitful partnership,” added Denis Olivennes, Chairman of Lagardère Active.
This partnership will thus allow Dropbox’s French team to deploy its strategy in the market: “Interest in Dropbox and our Enterprise solution is very strong in the French market, and I am delighted about this partnership with Lagardère Active. I will make sure that we combine the talents of our local teams and our people in San Francisco to develop this partnership over the long term,” stated Philippe Plichon, Managing Director of Dropbox France.
