Europe 1 redefines its editorial team

Three weeks after his arrival, Laurent Guimier, Managing Editor, has announced the new organisation structure:

• Pierre-Marie Christin is appointed Deputy Managing Editor
• Céline Pigalle is appointed Editor-in-Chief: Early Morning and will work alongside Jean-Philippe Balasse, Editor-in-Chief: Morning
• Nicolas Fauroux is appointed Editor-in-Chief: Daytime
• Emmanuel Faux is appointed Editor-in-Chief: Weekends

Editing articulates around six sections, each led by a department head:

• Thierry Geffrotin – Culture
• Catherine Marguerite – Economics
• Sophie Larmoyer – Foreign
• Alain Acco – News
• Fabien Namias – Politics
• Olivier Ravanello – Reporting and Society

The purpose of this new simplified structure, which will be achieved through internal transfers, is to strengthen information flow and precision.
