HDS Retail Asia Pacific opens in Taiwan

HDS Retail Asia Pacific is pleased to announce the opening of it’s first store in Taiwan. Situated within Taiwan’s High Speed Rail System (THSR) the store is located in the Taichung Station and operates under the Relay brand.

Stretching 345km from Taipei to Kaohsiung the THSR network passes through 14 cities and 77 Towns and Counties. The state of the art transit system will provide Taiwan’s 22.6 million people with a fast and efficient means of travel with train speeds reaching an astonishing 300km/hr. By 2013 it is forecasted that almost half a million trips will be made daily on the THSR system.
HDS Retail Asia Pacific will open 5 Relay stores within the THSR network by June 2007 in the Taoyuan, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan and Tsoying stations. |

| The opening of operations in Taiwan will add to HDS Retail Asia Pacific’s already established network of 67 stores in Australia, 13 in Hong Kong and 9 in Singapore.
