Lagardere Active : Appointments

Alain Lemarchand, Managing Director of Lagardère Active, has made the following appointments:

• Sylvia Courbarien has joined the group as General Secretary of Lagardère Active. She will be responsible for all legal affairs.

Sylvia Courbarien, 40, was previously Legal Director of the M6 group, as well as a member of the group’s Executive Committee and Board of Management. She joined M6 13 years ago, after beginning her career in 1998, as a legal expert at CLT-RTL.
She is a graduate of the University of Paris II-Assa and holds a post-graduate diploma in literary, artistic and industrial property law and a master’s degree in general private law.

• Anne Cheret has been appointed Human Resources Director of Lagardère Active.

With an engineering degree from ENSAE and a business degree from INSEAD, Anne Cheret, 49, began her career in 1978 with the management control division of the airline UTA (Union des Transports Aériens). She has worked for the Lagardère Group for 21 years, first for the financial divisions of Matra and Hachette, and then for Lagardère Active, which she joined in 1994 as the Management Control Director.
Since April 2000, she has served as Deputy General Manager of Lagardère Active Ressources, a company comprising the shared services of Lagardère Active.

• Delphine Grison has been appointed Deputy Managing Director assisting Alain Lemarchand.

Delphine Grison, 36, began her career at the Ministry of Justice, where she supervised capital works programmes. She joined the property division of EDF in 1997 where she was Managing Director of SOFILO (the office assets holding company). After a stint at the INA (the National Audiovisual Institute), she joined the Lagardère Group in August 2002 as Director of Management Control of Lagardère Active Ressources.
Delphine Grison is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and has a doctor’s degree in quantum physics as well as a civil engineering degree.
