Lagardère Travel Retail wins a 1,834 m2 Duty Free concession in King Fahd International Airport in Dammam

A consortium led by Lagardère Travel Retail together with Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SACC), and Arabian Ground Handling Logistic Company, has been awarded the concession contract to operate 1,834 m² of commercial space in King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.

The 5 year contract will provide Lagardère Travel Retail with the opportunity to operate, from 2017, two Aelia Duty Free stores – respectively 1,337 m² and 479 m² – offering, amongst others, perfumes, confectionery, foodstuff, electronics, fashion & luxury, watches & sunglasses, toys, local products and souvenirs.

In 2015, more than 5 million international passengers used Dammam King Fahd International Airport as their origin, destination or transit point.
