Awards presented to the four winners of the Louis-Hachette Prize for print media
On Wednesday, 15 February 2005, the Louis-Hachette Prizes for print media were awarded at the Ritz Hotel in Paris by Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres, Minister of Culture and Communications, Claude Imbert, Chairman of the prize judging panel, and Gérald de Roquemaurel, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hachette Filipacchi Médias (HFM), in the presence of several prominent news and media figures.
The prizes were presented by Philippe Labro, Alain Genestar, Philippe Tesson and Ivan Levaï to the four 2005 winners:
- Sara Daniel, for her coverage of Iraq: “GI dans l’enfer irakien” [“GI in Iraqi Hell”] (Le Nouvel Observateur)
- Marie-Laure Delorme, for her feature, “Coups de coeur d’un grand éditeur” [“A Major Publisher’s Passions”] (Le Journal du Dimanche)
- Jérôme Béglé, for “Weyergans rattrape le temps perdu” [“Weyergans Making Up for Lost Time”] (Paris Match)
- Eric Le Boucher, for “Economie mondiale: M. Tout-va-bien contre M. Au-bord-du-gouffre” [“Global Economy: Mr. Everything-is-Fine Versus Mr. On-the-Brink”] (Le Monde)
