Philippe Perthuis named Senior Vice President / Chief Financial Officer for Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S.

Jack Kliger, President & CEO, Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S., announced today that Philippe Perthuis, age 40, has been named Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer HFM U.S. Perthuis is currently the Deputy Director of Finance for Lagardère Active in Paris. He will join HFM U.S. on December 1, 2007.

This year, Perthuis has been focusing on the restructuring and centralization of the Finance and Administration systems in France following the merger of Lagardère Active and Hachette Filipacchi Médias. Prior to that, he served as Deputy General Manager for the company’s Youth Channel which includes the cable television channels “Canal J”, “TiJi”, “Filles TV” and “Gulli”.

In addition, Jim O’Donnell, currently Vice President/Controller, will add Treasurer to his title, becoming VP/Controller & Treasurer as of December 1. O’Donnell is a senior financial executive with experience in media, telecommunications and the advertising industries. He joined HFM U.S. in April 2007. Before coming to HFM U.S., O’Donnell was Vice President of Finance & Controller, Time Warner Retail Sales & Marketing.

Antoine de Noyer, Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, will be leaving the company.
