With the acquisition of Crossings, LS Distribution North America continues its diversification in Gourmet brand representation and enters the American market.

LS Distribution North America (LSDNA) continues its diversification in Gourmet brand representation thanks to the acquisition of Crossings, located in Worcester, MA.

LSDNA began its diversification in July 2011 with the acquisition of Euro-Excellence, which is well established in Canada as a national importer and distributor of Gourmet products since 1985.

With the acquisition of Crossings, effective January 1st 2013, LSDNA enters the confectionery and fine food market in the US, with access to a vast network of independent specialty food stores spread across the American territory. The many synergies between Euro-Excellence and Crossings will allow to propose to our present and future partners a complete offer of brand representation in North America.

Furthermore, Crossings will:

• speed up its development on the imported and specialized fine food market in the US thanks to the strong commercial synergies with LSDNA;
• expand its distribution through the LMPI distribution network (specialized retailers, airport stores…) and the food chains;
• be able to rely on the expertise of the distribution companies within the Lagardère Services Group worldwide in order to optimize its supplies and to expand its range of products.

This strategic merger makes LS Distribution North America an attractive player for foreign confectionery and fine food brands looking for future expansion in the US and Canada.
